Hi She.
Some thing about mothers, it caught my attention.
Hey! Your mom is one strong cookie.
I love the color of her hair, so vibrant.
I can't help, being nosy, but what the heck " Is it natural?"
Tell her I said, "Happy fluting"

Peace
Watch

This is so great - it just shows that we are never too old to learn new things.

ww,yes- her own snowy hair. I'll tell her "Happy fluting," from you.

sue, she does have a talent for music.

quilteddogs, she got the fingering right away, but is working on the blowing.

rowan-she's going around again on some things. She's starting a complex, glass mosaic picture like one she made for me almost fifty years ago!

meggie, she is always trying something new.

gj, yes indeed!

Good for mum! How many tunes can she play? I love to see vibrant, happy, healthy, alert older people, in fact, I intend to be one some day in the future (not too far off now)!

Amen to that, Cat!

Welcome ex-xhammickte! She's still working on playing clear notes. The mouth stuff seems tricky. She's only had it a few days, but she's mastered four of the eight notes and no doubt tunes will follow shortly!

That is wonderful. People are never to old to learn but sometimes it just takes a little longer. Good for her. The flute music of the Native Americans is incredible. I assume you know of it.

Thanks for visiting my bird blog.
