Yesterday, I got my photo to upload. "OK, " I said happily to E., "I'm back in business!"
Then I noticed that I'd cropped the photo in a manner that displeased me, so I deleted it and gave it a proper cropping.
It refused to upload again! I'm still having no success.
Now here's the thing... I'm having some trouble sending email as well. It piles up in my outbox because, says windows, it can't contact the server. At some point, I try to send it and it all actually goes. Hmmmm could this be a Cable One problem and not a blogger or One Acre Wood Problem?
Enough whining! I'm off to take Owl to the Y! I'll keep working on it.

Yes! I'd call Cable One tech support and scream bloody murder.
Oh Linda, whatever it is, I hope the problem will be solved soon. I miss your beautiful photos on the posts.
Good luck to you!
I hope your problems get solved. I have some trouble with emails to answer comments.
Whenever it pops up for me at work, it means the connection to our NY office is down - definitely not caused by the user.
Once in a while I have problems but all in all Picasa is a good service for posting photos to blogs.
Sorry for the trouble, know how frustrating it can be.
Thanks for the suportive comments, guys! I know I'll eventually stumble across the answer!
I have sent e-mails who never arrived and were never returned. Where are they? In cyberspaceland?
I tried posting before, but failed, is this transmittable decease??? :P
E told me about your problem:
Let's see if this goes through now and I wish I coudl help but it semms teh ISP is the cause.
I am almost sure that you have a connection problem and you should contatc the provider as soon as you have connectivity failures. Log the times of day it happens and ask them if they had a power problem or were doing something that could affect your service that day, don't tell them the time to corroborate.
Check these things:
~
I don't know if you are doing something different to upload your photos since the problem started.
If you are doing something different, stop doing it,
Check This:
1_ Are you using a different program to edit your photos?
2_ Are you uploading bigger files?
3_ Make a point of renaming the file so it does not have the same name as the original you uploaded (when you crop and edit them). This may create conflict.
4_ Make sure that the file is correctly named. JPG, JPEG, etc...
5_ As one of your readers suggested, Picassa is free and easy to use. You don't have to go to your blog to enter the entry.
6_ You could use a free blog uploader that can send the photos as well to the Blogger site.
I usually resize my photos to 320 x 240 or a little bigger than that so the page is not slow to display.
Try posting by sending an email to the bog e-mail posting adress that you can define. I think it workd with included photos but I may be wrong,
But, the best way to check if a connectivity problem or a photo problem is to use Picasa.
Good luck and let me know what happens.
I tested my blogger account and I click on the "INSERT IMAGE" icon on a test entry and it does nothing; blogger must have a problem!
Hi Monique, thanks for stopping by and for your comment:) I am puzzeled too, at times wondering where in cyberspace my emails have gone. It's a puzzle!
Thank you so much Heliocentric, for all your help! I'm going to take your advise and start using Picasa.
I thought it might be my computer, but couldn't upload from my DH's either.
It hadn't occured to me that it could be blogger! Thanks!!
