Oh! Pronghorn!
This little buck posed quite nicely for me.
We counted twenty-two. The local herds of Pronghorn have become greatly reduced as their territory is overtaken by subdivisions or they are relocated. Here's an interesting article at the local blog Read it Here. There are a couple of great pictures there too. General information about Pronghorn can be found here in Wikipedia.
A pale moon rode high in the eastern sky,
coolly presiding over the sun and shadow earth below.

Please Adopt Pinky
I'm wondering if they ever saw Pinky again! Poor fellow..
I've just been to Old Man Lincoln's to see a wonderful post about a racoon family and a very fun post featuring blonds.

Up...Up...And....
I always thought a dangerous dinner meant one high in calories , cholesterol and carbs!
Not high in altitude....
A relaxed group of diners? I suspect ensuing heartburn....

Oh! Deer!
I was excited so clicked too soon when I zoomed in on this doe, so it's blurry.
She hardly looked up when we stopped to snap her picture..
After a minute of listening to us exclaiming things like, "Oh my Gosh, there's another one," she decided to move on. But she wasn't in a very big hurry about it.

Who needs Gravity?
Oh Dear! Life keeps me away from the computer..well from blogging anyway. I've been getting acquainted with listing on EBay. E. and I just have too much stuff. We've always been pack rats. We collect and keep everything and the seams of this old house are bursting. The basement is full. We've foisted stuff off on the kids and their houses are bursting. So, we're going to try EBay.
My best friend who lives in Florida sent me this wonderful Space Station video. It's short and looks like such fun!
Givethemhell asked me about this song that is so familiar to all of us and those with children and grandchildren know it's from the Disney movie The Lion King. But there is some interesting information here that tells a rather sad history of the Zulu man who seems to have written the song in 1939.

Javelina
He's not quite fully grown, but most of the Javelina we see aren't much larger.
Well yes, I must admit there were some treats involved.
