Happy 4th of July to you and yours. I'm home for 3 days between trips so not much time for reading and commenting. Normal service should be resumed next week - I'm glad you read Lady of Shallot to your grandchildren. I wonder what they thought of it:)?
rowan, to be honest, the youngest wern't too enthusiastic, but it could have been the heat. Piglet, who is about to turn fourteen and is a reader liked it a lot. We found it in the children's section of the library! You got me going so I'm starting the Mary Stewart Arthurian trilogy. Have read it at least twice in past years, but the MS account is just so enchanting...
Oh, indeed it is! I was lent one of the Mary Stewart books plus The Mists of Avalon when I was in the hospital with pneumonia. I didn't want to leave until I had finished both.

GJ, I had the misfortune to be reading Stephen King's It when I was in with pneumonia! I's huge. Riveting.. but full of evil vibes..
